Discover another world, the Waitakere Ranges.
The amazing west coast is dotted with stunning black sand beaches with wild surf – a photographers dream! Explore some of NZ’s lush rainforests with ancient trees including the magnificent Kauri trees. Discover a hidden lake fringed by native bush and impressive sand dunes. Walk through native bush. Visit a spectacular gannet colony, one of only three on mainland NZ (birds in residence August to March).
We aim to spend less time driving and more time discovering this stunning location.

Cascade Kauri Park, Bethells Beach, Lake Wainamu and Muriwai.

Note: A reasonable level of fitness is required for the walking tracks however the tracks are well maintained, the pace will be leisurely while we explore the bush and beaches.
